The Wayshaping Content System

Welcome to the changelog for the Wayshaping Content System — a quality control system that ensures Wayshaping only ever publishes content that's in readers' best interest, even while becoming a sustainable media business.

Purpose: Wayshaping will have an intentionally diversified approach to monetization, and so, it's important that as revenue channels emerge, Wayshaping upholds a high quality of digital content that serves everyday readers' needs. This changelong serves as a transparent record of how we operate.

Introduction of product reviews

We're establishing a new component of Wayshaping's content system: product reviews. Product reviews should aim for as much objectivity and quality as possible, so the content structure and methodology reviews matters a great deal. The basic outline of the methodology comes from a singular principle: We only review what actually works in reducing life admin in some way. Products that end up producing more unnecessary life admin — however fun they may be to use — will not be reviewed.

Initial system state

The initial content system for Wayshaping has three main components: (A) Wayshaping's content structure (B) Logged-in vs. public content (C) 1:1 Session serivces as the primary initial monetization. The primary focus for ongoing updates to the content system will be changes to the content structure, the addition of totally new components, and changes to the way these three first components are setup to interact.
